1730 German Hunting sword

Air Crew Officers Dagger with aluminium pommel and hilt in excellent condition and has the lower handle ring still attached. The lower handle ring was often removed and gifted as a ring.

This is a fine officers dagger actually pre WWII and made in 1939 with silver plated scabbard, hilt and pommel.

The lower handle ring is missing, these were often removed to make finger rings, however this example

The older sword was owned by the father, the later model was owned by the son who was the son in law of the Prime minister of Switzerland in WWII.

These family swords have the provenience of the Sonderegger family and are in natural condition with fine patina as would be expected. 

Hand crafted in silver with a hand crafted blade.
